Aroma/Color/Taste: This tea's deep, rich, reddish brown color is reflective of its richness of taste.  This tea has a great tasting mouth.  So rich, full, smooth, sweet and chocolaty.  Not bitter nor pungent.  This tea has a clean, light, earthy aroma.  Some detect a waft reminiscent of mushrooms and truffles upon its first couple infusions. This tea has a complex fragrance.

The depth of this tea with its ability to move your Qi and rejuvenate is symbolic of its incredible age, 500 years old!  Imparting a serenity, stillness, and strength of ageless wisdom.  A very enjoyable experience and a great tasting tea.  You'll crave for more.

This tea ages best in high humidity climates.  If you plan on holding onto it you can store it in your basement.

Location:  Bu Lang Mountain in Menghai,  in Yunnan Province

Made by:  Tea Master Zheng made this tea from wild grown tea trees 500 years old.  Historically, these tea trees were taken care of by the tea families of Bu Lang Village where the tea trees co-exist with other wild plants, not polluted by any pesticides or chemical fertilizers.

Brews & Steeping:  Bring the water to a rolling boil.  Wait for the bubbling water to settle.  Pour off the first brew to open the leaves.  For first drink, infuse for 3 seconds, pour and enjoy.  This tea can make 10-15 infusions.  Increase steep time only slightly longer as you reach the final brews.  You'll know by the color and taste of the tea, when it has been exhausted.  We recommend using a small thick clay teapot and spring or filtered water.

Our teas are packed and shipped with eco friendly packaging.
